Production Blog: Getting Started
Hey blog, I'm back. Let's just say Mondays are not for the weak, especially when you have a commercial under production. Lately, I have been going through albums and albums of both photos and videos to choose which ones I feel best represent myself. It hasn't been easy, but it has come along. I recently downloaded both capcut and iMovie in order to produce and develop my commercial. I have chosen to use iMovie specifically for editorial purposes. Although I have yet to construct it, I am in the process of planning my commercial. I plan to call it Keeping up With Kylie. In the beginning I will have a video of my friend and I with the title fading in. After that it will be a photo of me when I was little on the boat. I then hope to find a transition to a picture of me currently on the downtown Nashville bridge with my friends. After that two videos of me surfing with play. Keeping in mind that the during this, the song "Cruel Summer" by Taylor Swift will be playing. After that there will be a mashup to show how I transition from a so called normal life to my life revolving all around sports. Coincidentally, I have many photos of me playing softball. So I will combine both the photos and videos, transitions and all, in order to complete the commercial. But, its not done yet! During this part of the commercial, the song "All of the Lights" by Kanye West will be playing. Although I seem to have a pretty good idea on the structure of this commercial, I am not yet sure what parts of the songs I will be playing nor the transitions I will be using. But I hope to update you guys in the future production blogs. Until then, Kylie!
