Reflection
After creating my commercial, I figure that much reflection is needed. I learned how to upload on both iMovie and YouTube. iMovie was easy at first, that was until I got to the music and transition aspect. The first issue I ran into was with transitions. I learned that in story board, it has set transitions you cannot change. These transitions did not fit in how I liked, but at first I ignored it. This was until yet another problem arised, music. I planned to upload the music as a background audio, because iMovie did not offer my song choice. But, I couldn't. So, I ended up asking a friend and she showed me how to download it onto the typical setting. To then upload it onto blogger, I had to post my commercial on YouTube. I had zero clue how to do that, per usual, but I figured it out with much needed help. The process of putting this project together was very time consuming. In order to complete each assignment, I must set out specific dates to do it. I also realized that the best way to understand something is to ask questions about it. I plan to keep this in mind for future projects. Procrastinating also played a role in when I ended up doing assignments. I could go on and on about this, but I will keep it short. These projects are not my only homework, so if I wait till the last day to complete it, I am crammed with eighteen other assignments. In order to make this next project better, I am going to designate more time to editing and peer reviewing. I think it is super important to have classmates look over what I made. They very well may have good suggestions or ideas which can make my project better overall. Also from now on I will be completing production blogs in class. I told myself "I will do it at home" and talk to my friends now. That was until it was 9pm and I forgot to do it. I ended up completing it, but it was the last thing I wanted to do. In the end, I learned a lot from my first project and hope to implement these things in the future. Until next time blog!
